Q. Why do I need to login?
A. Some sections of our site we'd like to keep just for friends and family, such
as some of our photo sets as well as some of our recipes (such as recipes from cookbooks
that may infinge on copyright by reproducing on a web page). So that they
are not 'world viewable' they will be placed into area's that can only be accessed
if you have logged in. However, if you choose to not login, then nearly all
areas of the site will still have things to read or look at.
Q. How do I login?
A. To login, go back to the Home page (click Home in the navigation bar at the top
of the page, or in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page) and enter your
user name & password in the User Name and Password fields, then click the Login
button.
Q. What is my User Name and/or Password?
A. If you don't have a username, you'll need to register first. Its possible
we may have already set you up as a user, in which case we'll have already emailed
you your login details. If we haven't, you can register yourself as a user.
Click the 'Register' link (in the navigation bar at the top of the page, or at the
bottom of the page) which will take you to a page where you can create your user
name and enter your password. Please note that your password MUST be at least
7 characters long, and include at least 1 non alphabetic or numeric character (i.e.
it needs to be a punctuation or other character such as @, #, $, %, & or other
character on the keyboard that is NOT alphabetic or numeric). This will automatically
send me an email letting me know that you want to register as a user. Once
I get this email, I'll set you up as a user & let you know via return email
(that's why there's also an email field in the user registration screen).
Please be patient, as it may take me a day or two to get you set up - it's not an
instant process!
Q. I forgot my password - what can I do?
A. No problem - just go to the Register page (Click the 'Register' link in the navigation
bar at the top of the page, or at the bottom of the page) and enter your User Name
in the 'Forgot Your PAssword' section. Click the submit button, and your password
will be emailed to the email address that you entered when you set yourself up as
a user.
